Daytona Lagoon raised $6,807 during a Christmas in July fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club Volusia/Flagler Counties. From July 22 through 25, Daytona Lagoon promoted Christmas in July, which was a reduced waterpark admission from $29.99 to $12.50 per ticket and a two-hour family entertainment center wristband for $12.50, normally priced $28.99. The Boys and Girls Club received one dollar from each ticket sold.

"We are proud to give back to the local community, thankful to everyone who purchased tickets during this fundraiser, and look forward to delivering our brand of fun to those ticket holders," said Tyler Currie, general manager of Daytona Lagoon. "We firmly believe in The Boys & Girls Club's mission to create caring and responsible citizens, and we're happy that the money could go to a deserving and hard-working organization that works hard to better the lives of the young kids in the Daytona area."
