Prospera Holds Series of Seminars to Empower Hispanic Entrepreneurs

Clearwater, FL— Prospera, a nonprofit organization devoted to empowering Hispanic entrepreneurs, is excited to announce that they will be hosting a series of free seminars this summer.

  • July 21: Value Proposition and Branding

This event, sponsored by Clearwater SPARK and Truist Bank, will teach entrepreneurs will the importance of determining one’s value proposition and brand and how to leverage these for business success.  The event will be conducted in Spanish and is intended for small business owners who may be struggling to find their business identity.

  • August 9 and August 26: “How to Start Business the Right Way”

Prospera will be joining forces with Fifth Third Band and TECO to host a series of seminars titled, “How to Start Business the Right Way.” The series will focus on the essentials of starting a business and will include topics such as: licensing, state requisites, financing options, and how Prospera can help start or grow your business. The seminars will occur on Monday, August 9 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and Thursday, August 26 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

  • August 30: “All You Need to Know About Government Certifications”

This seminar, presented by Florida Blue, will focus on the process of government contracting and the advantages of obtaining a certification as a Hispanic-owned business.

Prospera is the foremost Hispanic economic development nonprofit organization in the region. Prospera’s team has provided unwavering support to Hispanic entrepreneurs seeking to build, develop and grow their business for the past 30 years. The organization specializes in providing bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs trying to establish or expand their business at no cost.

All of the aforementioned events are free of charge and will be conducted in Spanish.
